Apparently he slept though any history class he ever had . Let's take a monstrous injustice , the first groups to oppose slavery .... were religious groups , the first groups to fight for civil rights ... were religious groups . Natural disasters , before the governments start to put up money religious groups have money on the way . As for the latter why on earth should religions make science pronouncements ? But honestly indirectly they did because EVERY college and university in Europe started as monastic and cathedral schools .Heck even Galileo studied math at University of Pisa ...founded in 1343 by Pope Clement VI .
