Objective MoralityMany Theists (as well as some Atheists) support the idea of objective morality. Objective morality means that all actions are factually moral/immoral, regardless from our believes and the situation. Many theists, like William Lane Craig, claim that the existence of objective morality proofs that there is a god.
However, the problem here is that they have nothing to back up the claim that morality is objective. The closest they come to providing arguments for objective morality is by claiming that certain things, like rape and cruelty, are wrong in every single situation. And while most of us agree that these things are usually wrong, this is still an assumption, because the fact that it is wrong in every situation we encountered, doesn't guarantee that it's wrong in every possible situation. The people who bring up this argument also ignore all other explanations for why these things appear to be universally moral or immoral. A much better explanation, for example, is that because we a
Masterplanwhen crucified they say
he died for our sins
how many wars lead back to that day?
how much blood has been spilled ever since?
i'd rather live with my sins
than be told to kill or die for Him
if there ever was a master-plan
made by an omnipotent invisible man
omnipotence suggests you know how things will play
then why do we get punished by a God
who already knows we can't abide his ways?
made to be imperfect
created to fear and worship
but does it make sense to fear one who "loves" us?
to beg and pray in wails that rise up above us
my disbelief is what helps me survive
i am not blinded by your master-plans lies
Atheist v. Xtian Debate
This all started two days ago when I was looking at youtube videos listening to several atheist comics and skeptics and such, and I just happen to go to a video of a guy who was unsure about religion or if he even believed in it but he figured he should choose.. my comment simply said something like if you want to join any religion, belief or lack there of (atheism) I would advise reading up on both of em, and determine which one most identifies with you and go that route be it religious or Atheist. Then some one commented on my comment like "GO RELIGIOUS atheism is nothing but a religion without the belief in god.." so I told him look up the definition of religion which is a belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe... so the next day (yesterday) I got this in a youtube message and here are the responses back and forth.. I have altered none of his words, what he said in its entirely is below

The Right To An AbortionGreetings all!
This week’s title is inspired as part of a quote from a friend of mine. We were discussing how both political parties in America very much like to focus on certain population demographics during the election season, and why we believe this is damaging to our constitutional republic as a whole. What she said struck me as unabashedly true: “Democracy is not a tetris game. People should be treated as people, not as voting blocs which can be used for political gain.” I decided to take a note from her idea, and begin a mini-event on my blog. Both this week’s post and next’s week’s will focus on women’s issues, while simultaneously making sure to treat the topics as subjects that affect all of us rather than just some. This is especially true since women make up more than half of all American people today. This may even spill over into a third week, if you all demand it.
Moving on, this week I approach a subject which ligh
